We Foundation

We work to improve the inclusion and equal opportunities of children, young people, and families — through concrete action and better data.

We Foundation (Me-säätiö) was established in 2015 by Supercell entrepreneurs Ilkka Paananen and Mikko Kodisoja. We work to ensure that no child or young person is left behind.

We strive toward a world where children and young people have more equal opportunities to pursue hobbies, believe in their future, and feel a sense of belonging.

We want Finland to be known as a country where every child and young person feels they belong.

Through our broad network of partners, our own community initiatives, and the knowledge we have gathered over the years, we aim to demonstrate that there are effective and impactful ways to prevent the social exclusion of children and young people.

We also believe that society’s resources can be used more effectively. We believe that leisure time holds immeasurable potential for preventing social exclusion. By measuring it, can we make this impact visible and  understand where efforts should be directed.
